The greater phoenix chamber of commerce (gpcc) is the largest association of businesses in the state of arizona , and one of the largest in the southwestern united states , with more than 2,900 business members. Founded november 13, 1888 as the phoenix chamber of commerce, the organization was known as the phoenix metropolitan chamber of commerce from 1973 to 1987 and adopted its present name in 1998. Its mission is to support the growth and development of business, strengthen the quality of life in the community, champion the voice of business in government and keep its members informed, connected and prosperous.
Gpecc promotes and supports the interests of the lgbtq+ business community in the greater phoenix area. We accomplish this by fostering business growth, visibility, connections, and professional development opportunities. Gpecc promotes business development to increase economic opportunities for our members, the lgbt community and all who support business equality. Gpecc is the 2nd oldest non-profit lgbt chamber of commerce in the nation, celebrating our 40th anniversary. We are proud and honored to be the recipient of the national gay and lesbian chamber of commerce chamber of the year award. Actually, i've been in cortado at least once each week for at least four months now. We've spent a lot of time together in her coffee shop. This morning in particular was different. I pitched an idea to maria about showcasing cortado roastery in a blog post. I sat at the bar counter while she and staff continued to serve guests. Each time she had a spare moment, i asked another question.
